At least Two unit of measurement should be available for stock. for example some products are sold/purchase in bundle, case, or per thousand, per kilograme and also in Pieces, nos. gram. But in software we can take only one UOM.
We understand the requirement and its operational value. However this itself is a massive change impact in the entire software. With the existing roadmap and focus on GST we are not in a position to take up any such changes now. That is why we have kept the issue under Unlikely to Implement which means that in future there is scope of consideration.
Maintaining multiple UOMs is a need, there are certain item which we may sell as PCS and Cartons as well where maintaining separate inventory is difficult to implement.
