At present there is no control on the Split Item process in the software. User is free to split any items, with given any qty. Also there is no control option to manage the margin based on which the Split Item Price details are updated.
From Management point of view introducing the following control would be helpful:
- Assortment based definition were the allowed items for SPLIT shall be mapped. System will allow selection / scanning of those items only which are mapped in that. It will cover details like Div..Sec..Depart..Cat1..6, Item Creation Date from - to, Price From - to, Description Fields, Article Master
- Tolerance LEVEL at document level which will check compare the differential COST impact due to this split or revenue loss
- If some checks can be provided for Max Qty per Barcode it will also help to manage the operations.
