In V.10 in Item Master there was a field for storing replenishment mode of item (buy, produce or both) and accordingly it was possible to segregate the Traded Item, produced item at any report level (specially FIFO valuation report) but in V.11 the said field has been removed and therefore now there is no way to segregate the same at item master level. However even that was not a mandatory field and therefore was required to be updated manually.
I would therefore suggest we should create a separate field in item master (report level) which would automatically update the nature of item:
Since it will be automatic, it will be authentic and would not require any manual intervention.

As per your requirement the same can be mapped via a Custom Function in OLAP which will give the desired information as per the logic provided. You are requested to kindly log a Support ticket for the same.
From idea prospective we are making this as Unlikely to Implement to remove it from general tracking.
