In Job Receipt - Restrict stock point modification
The default stock point is pulled from PRO in PRR but the same can be changed by user - possibly this should not happen as it will create mismatch between PRO n PRR however if there is any specific requirement, it should be made profile based.
Please note that receiving stock at correct stock point is very important for any organisation. I agree that you have given an option for flow of master stock point from Order but allowing free change of it can result in unnecessary wrong entries. Whereas if we make it profile driven, the management will take a call whether it wants the default stock points to get changed or not by one or more user.
GINESYS provides default flow of various masters in many entry form, just to facilitate the user, if required user can change it, so in entire application there is no such check exists so far. We had a plan to map stockpoint with User in future to restrict this kind of wrong entries, but it is now not our priority. So it is unlikely that we develop it as you want.
