Problem Statement
The customer wants a bulk allocation option to assign all divisions to a site at once, rather than allocate each division individually.
Observation:
As discussed with Ashwani, he confirmed that they have 25 divisions, each with around 20,000 items.
When a new site is created, they need to allocate over 500,000 items to it. (~25000 icode each time with single division)
Previously, doing this through the 'Manual Item Allocation' window in POS management caused significant performance issues due to the high volume.
Although the tech team has resolved the performance issue, they still need an option to allocate all divisions to a site at once, rather than one by one.
Currently, when they try to allocate 25,000 items at a time, they encounter performance issues. (i have check that in BA-03 and alos face the same so attached the below snap for reference)
We mention that if all divisions are allocated to multiple sites at once, significant performance issues are likely to occur.
However, as discussed with Ashwani, they won’t be allocating all divisions to multiple sites simultaneously.
Instead, they still need a solution to allocate all divisions to a single site in one go.
Allocating 25 divisions to a new site one by one is very time-consuming for them, so they want an option to streamline this process. (New Requirement)
Our current system architecture only supports allocating one division at a time
