required option for create stores groups options at the time of adding stores in Promotion > Allocation > Available Sites

Hi Team,

A lot of time was taken to add various selective stores in the live 300 stores. we are doing add one by one manual add.

we require the option to create groups and inside we add multiple stores.

like.

COMPANY STORES: SITE1, SITE2, SITE3, SITE4, SITE5, SITE6

COMPANY FACTORY OUTLET STORES: SITE1, SITE2, SITE5, SITE6

FRANCHISE STORES: SITE7, SITE8, SITE9.

this functionality helps us to allocate the promotion very easily and save time.

    Hello Shailendra,

Based on our analysis, here is a summary for the same:

Module: Ginesys HO --> POS Management --> Promotion --> Manage --> Allocation

    Problem Statement:

While allocating promotions to POS Sites, uses have to select the desired sites one-by-one which is a repetitive and time consuming process.

    Requirement:

The brand requires a grouping logic for POS Sites based on which they will select the desired group and promotion will be allocated in all the sites in the selected group.

    Observation:

    • Users can add information for any site in UDF fields for Site Master

    • In "Promotion Allocation" window's "Available Sites" grid, user can select the desired UDF field and can filter data based on information available in selected UDF field

    Workaround:

    • Designate a new UDF field in item master (Preferably a LOV named "Site Type" containing values Eg. Co. Stores/Co. Factory Outlet/Franchise Store etc.)

    • Update these UDF fields as per requirement

    • In promotion allocation window, filter data based on this UDF field and allocate the promotion to resultant sites.

    • Another way to filter data is based upon site type (Eg. MS-CO-CM/ MS-OO-CM/ MS-CO-OM-TS) for which we already have a column there.
