If problem in Live Sync is arising due to internet issues, same problem would be there in manual data sync as well.
Some mode of connection is obviously required to exchange data within different servers and that medium is internet(generally).
If you disagree with us, please reply within the portal comments within three working days with valid reasons, otherwise this idea would be marked as "Unlikely to Implement".
