While creating a new gift voucher, currently we are getting an option to set one particular date, example- 30/09/2023. However, the gift vouchers are pre printed in advance and because we never know when a customer would purchase it, an option of setting expiry date in accordance with issue date should also be available. For example, an expiry date could look like- 3 months from the date of issue. And once, the voucher gets issued from POS, the expiry date should automatically be applied.
If this feature is not made available, we will have to keep updating/extending the expiry date, at the time of issue of gift voucher from POS, in front of the customer which is not at all practical.

You can provide validity information, instead of a specific expiry date. And the system shall auto-apply the expiry date. It's an existing feature.
This works even for the cases, where the voucher allocation & actual issue from POS date is different.
