In GRC, there is an issue.
We get many items on scheme & the schemes are mostly quantity based.
That is, if we get in bulk quantity, then we get some pieces for free. For example, if we get 500 pieces of the same item in bulk in a single invoice, then we get 25 pieces free. but there is no option to add this scheme purchase in GRC.
We are adding the free pieces with the purchase rate as ₹0.01. But these free pieces are not tagged to the bulk purchase pieces in any way. Because if this, The Item landing cost is not correct.
Most importantly, the scheme is not any way known to the purchase department, and because of this in the next purchase the are not getting this specified bulk quantity and get the free scheme again.
Now we make note manually in a ledger and do the purchase next time. Due to human errors, we are missing the scheme frequently. Having an ERP and doing manual work defeats the purpose and cause lot of operational difficulties.
