This is with reference to GIN-I-3137 which is showing as merged with another idea, and is released in the latest version.
We have updated our system to the latest version.
However, when i try to take return against a bill which was originally billed under promotion Buy 1 Get 1, the return amount which is being taken is 0.
Please help me with how to use this promotion while taking return.

We have released an exchange functionality which allows the cashier to bill the items in exact same price it was billing originally. If the item was originally billed in 0 value, then exchange bill also will be created in 0 value.
Alternatively, you can use our "Apportion discount" option in promotions which allows you to apportion the free item's amount in both the sale as well as free item while applying the promotion. In such cases when the item is returned, use the exchange item option to make the exchange bill which will create the bill in the original amount itself.
