Job order should not be proceed if BOM is not available or without issuing raw material

This refers to the above. We are facing problem while issue material through job order form, as job order accepts FG material request even end product (FG/Semi BOM) is not created in system.

In that case material (RM/Semi) is not issued automatically through inventory against job order, and FG is entered against job order. We can't find such issues at later stage regarding short/excess in inventory

So, there must be a provision in job order that material can't be issued if end product (FG/Semi) BOM is not there.

So, get the issue gone through and sorted out on urgent basis.

    Thanks for the idea, your suggested feature has been released. Profile based option has now been provided to restrict Job Receipt when raw material is pending to be issued.

    Job Order cannot be restricted if BOM is not defined for the process, because there are some operations/process like Washing, Printing etc (in case of Apparel manufacturing) which does not require any physical materials to be issued.
    How ever, we do provide an alert while making Working Plan, if the selected FG item is not having BOM defined, leaving it on user acceptance to proceed or not.
    We also provide alert for pending material issue at the time of Job Receipt, it depends upon the user to proceed or not. Restriction cannot be applied because there are scenarios where production is completed with short consumption.
