We scan our barcodes. After scanning our products we request you to provide us select, copy & paste option from the data field to excel. The task gets easy. As sometimes we may face error , we need to scan all the barcodes again.

As per my knowlwdge, Export is only possible, when the data is already saved or stored.
Over here the case is different, i will share you one Eg.
Eg:
I have scanned appx 122 different SKU Barcode(Half of my parcel) , and
Unknowingly, connection gets lost or any other reason, i cannot save the file. but still the grid is open., i can see the barcode and quantity i have scanned.
So i requested , that i can copy the data from the data grid and paste in excel .
This helps me to save my time a lot.

Basically you are asking for, Export to file option from item data grid. Please acknowledge.
