Restoring the Backup - allow Data Loss

Recently we have faced a situation where a new store was operational for 17-18 days, and due to lockdown there was no transaction.

Only System Information and NULL Settlement information was in position and there was a DATA Loss previous backup has all the relevant data but as per the scheduler there was a data sync - which synced thrice- System Information & 2 days Null Settlement information backup was not there.

In a Practical scenario we are in a situation to bear this DATA LOSS but as DATA SYNC will not be allowed so in this scenario we had to proceed for data recovery form HO - which has recovered technically the similar data what our team had.

IF Being a data owner we confirm to continue for the data loss why there isn't an option for this.

    We do have "Restore from HO" provision to handle such cases. You are requested to get in touch with your account manager to understand more on this.
