Dear Update Manager,
To exactly interpret sales loss potential of a product; we would need a report capturing data about date and time when that particular product went out of stock.
E.g. Suppose a product A went out of stock( zero or negative) on 11-Dec-2019::11:55:00 AM and again went out of stock on 12-Dec-2019::13:15:15 PM, then this report should show out of stock date and time as (11-Dec-2019::11:55:00 AM, 12-Dec-2019::13:15:15 PM) .
This report would be particularly useful in our daily planning and selling of perishable products like Fresh Fruits & Vegetables.
I think we are facing potential sales loss in such items because of lack of this report.

We would like to inform you that it would not be possible to develop such report. Alternatively you can check following Report 'Inventory > Status > Stock Book > #Item Costing# Report#' , where you can search for an Item to get the -ve stock status. IN this Report it is already highlighted with 'red' colour when stock have -ve qty.
