currently the stock report in web doesn't have the facility to create reports without using data cubes which is a lengthy process , it would nice if we could be able to get stock reports in web as we have in pos analytics without cube

Stock report with Opening and closing within a period, requires lots of critical calculation which in runtime might slow down the entire report performance for large data sets. Our main objective for cube is to create a data set one time and use it multiple times to generate a report as many ways you want without deteriorating the performance of the report output.
We already has a Data source exposed under Inventory Category (please see attachment) to get realtime stock (as-on) of an item / category for a site/stockpoint as per choice. It will not show the entry level records but it will show the summarise stocks.
