Vendor alias selection option in Promotion Assortment

  We don't have vendor information in the Item at store level because we take only necessary information from HO to stores to keep the POS light. In case you want to apply vendor wise promotions, following are the ways to implement the same:

  • Create assortments at Item level, i.e., use select item to populate the vendor's item in the assortment. [which you are already aware of]
  • In case you want to keep the promotions vendor wise itself, then you can keep the vendor name in one of the category fields and create assortment accordingly.

  Given the workarounds, we don't have this in our product vision and roadmap. We are marking this idea as "Will not implement". Thanks for sharing your idea!
