WE NEED A FIELD IN DELIVERY CHALLAN IN WHICH WE MENTION THE DETAIL OF THE QUANTITY AND IT AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATES THE SUM OF THAT FIELD AND ADDS IT IN THE TOTAL QUANTITY FIELD OF THE CHALLAN.
FOR EXAMPLE THERE IS A NUMERIC FIELD IN CHALLAN IN WHICH WE ENTER THE DETAIL AS FOLLOWS:
(8*20)+(2*10.5)+(3*15.5)
AFTER ENTERING THIS DETAIL. THE SOFTWARE SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATE THE SUM I:E 646 OF THE FIELD ON "BODMAS" BASIS MATHEMATICAL FORMULA AND ENTER THAT SUM IN THE QUANTITY FIELD OF THE CHALLAN

sir we cannot do it excel for every item we scan. A UDF can be made in the delivery challan which calculates the data and it can be linked with the quantity coloumn. so whatever is the result of the calculated data, it automatically gets in quantity coloumn of the delivery challan

Please use the required formula in excel and import the quantity of the same while doing delivery challan using Select Item -> Import Excel.
