Store Closure Option Required

Now a days it became a urgent requirement for store closer. So many issues are getting logged and killing R&D time. Therefore requesting you please take it as a serious concern and analyze the same from BA perspective and put it into the development as a new feature request.

Why this is required:

POS server crashed / formatted
Client is having a valid backdated backup or a valid backup with some SYNC mismatch
Restore utility doesn't allow to restore the backup
Customer is asked to get the data restored from Head Office
In case there is no backup then restore from HO is the only option
Now there is a process involved of commercial discussion and approval without which work is not started
Major issue which Customer faced they have to do manually billing which is not feasible in case of promotions, large operations
Customer opts to create a new site sync master and do configuration to start immediate billing
Now this Store closer is required to clear the old site data

Key decisions to be taken:

Will only consider it in case the backup is very old and correcting mismatch data will take considerable time.
We restore the valid backup (if the SYNC difference is not much) proactively and start Customer billing, reconcile the data from HO later.
Whether to keep as part of managed service or build it as feature.
