In Cash while promotion like buy get customer want to know which item is get item and what item is buy item.and in Cash memo MRP print required in ascending order so that the customer come to know which item is getting free on which product.

In POS Bill service we already have 'Promo Buy Satisfied' and 'Promo Get Satisfied' columns exposed. If value = 0 then Item is not Buy or Get Satisfied, if value = 1 then Item is Buy or Get Satisfied. According you can add a formula to indicate the get items in POS Bill Print.
