In Sales Order, date selection is controlled by back office security and therefore POS Order date can't be forced in Sales Order (it might happen that POS order date is closed in Back office)
POS order date is always maintained in separate reference and thus can be obtained wherever required for reporting purpose. Given the constraint this feature is unlikely to get implemented. However, we will keep this idea open to gather additional feedback to track the level of interest within the community.
