Presently there is no such authorization check exists in PO cancellation. So unauthorized PO can be cancelled as well. Need option to cancel only authorized PO. For unauthorized PO, no need to preserve a separate entry for cancellation, if required user will modify it accordingly.
Scenario : If a single purchase order cancellation document is made for multiple purchase order having both authorized and unauthorized PO, in that case how the system would process the document.

Thanks for the idea, your suggested feature has been released. PO can now be cancelled only after authorization and deletion and modification of PO is allowed only until its authorized.
